Price Sources & Multi-Tier Methodology

The 3-Tier Pricing Model
Greggs operates three main pricing tiers across the UK: (1) Standard High Street (nationwide baseline), (2) City & Central London (~10-15% premium due to central operating costs), and (3) Travel Hubs & Airports (franchise locations at stations and motorway services carrying a 25-35% premium).
Where each price tier comes from
Our central London price for most items is a first-party observation: recorded directly from the Greggs Click + Collect ordering flow for a single store (94 Great Portland Street, London) on 14 September 2026. Calories and nutrition figures come from Greggs' own published nutritional information document. Standard high-street and travel-hub prices are a different story: we don't have a store-by-store price feed, so for the 30 breakfast items and a handful of other high-search items we've cross-referenced published price listings on other independent Greggs menu-price sites alongside our own London observation to resolve a three-tier figure; everywhere else a standard or travel-hub price is shown, it's an estimate — our recorded London price with the regional premium bands below applied, not an observed figure for that specific product. That's why every three-tier table on this site is labelled "Estimated Regional Price Tiers," with a note underneath naming which of the two methods was used for that item.
Delivery Markup
Third-party delivery platforms (Just Eat and Uber Eats) set menu prices approximately 15% to 20% higher than in-store collection prices to cover platform commissions.
How to Check Your Local Price
To verify your exact branch price before visiting, choose your local store on Greggs Click + Collect, as franchise and travel hub locations may differ from standard high-street branches.
